Free cosmic guidance for everyone
MayaAstro is a free, open astrology platform that brings together the wisdom of both Vedic (sidereal) and Western (tropical) traditions. We believe cosmic guidance should be accessible to everyone — no paywalls, no subscriptions, no gated features.
Our tools include live moon phase tracking, daily horoscopes for all 12 zodiac signs, birth chart calculators in Western, North Indian, and South Indian styles, Vedic compatibility (Ashtakoot Guna Milan), Vimshottari dasha, Sade Sati phase tracking, personal transits, tarot readings, a dream journal, planetary hours, moon gardening, daily lunar rituals, mantras, eclipse tracking, and per-nakshatra deep dives across all 27 nakshatras.
Who built this
MayaAstro is built and maintained by Rangan Chidambara Kuttalam Pillai, a software engineer with a long-standing personal interest in classical Jyotish. Every algorithm is open-source TypeScript that you can read at github.com/ranganc007/mayaastro.
